Frequently asked questions
Which bitrate should I use for MP3?
192 kbps is a good default for music. 128 kbps is plenty for podcasts and voice; 320 kbps is the maximum quality.
Does converting MP3 to WAV improve quality?
No. WAV preserves exactly what’s in the MP3 but can’t restore detail that MP3 compression already removed.
